The Star Tribune is reporting that the City of Minneapolis has reached a settlement of $275,000 in relation to a police beating at a traffic stop. The 52-year-old victim was pulled over for not signaling 100 feet before turning. He was pulled out of his car, thrown to the ground, and beaten until he was severely bruised, bleeding, and had a broken nose. According to the article, the police officer that beat the man also lied about evidence in order to obtain a search warrant for his home.
