The West Central Tribune is reporting that Wesley Duane Torke Jr. died while in the custody of the Chippewa County Jail on January 4, 2020. Sadly, there have already been multiple suicides at Minnesota jails in 2020, as a recent suicide was also reported at the Crow Wing County Jail. More must be done in the state of Minnesota to protect inmates and detainees. You can read more about both of these sad cases here:
