DWORAK OBTAINS $450,000 SETTLEMENT FOR AMOROSI FAMILY

Paul Dworak successfully obtained a $450,000 settlement on behalf of the family of Archer Amorosi for violations of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.  Archer was a young man in need of help, who instead of being helped was shot and killed by Carver County Sheriff’s Deputies.  The Carver County Attorney and Sheriff compounded these wrongs by unlawfully disclosing to the public information related to Archer and these events that should have remained private.  It was reported that this may have been the largest data practices settlement in Minnesota History.
