On February 2, Eric Newmark argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court on behalf of a lawyer facing discipline for alleged professional misconduct.
Attorney Newmark has successfully represented lawyers and other licensed profesionals in both criminal cases and before licensing boards. In August 2015, Newmark will speak at the Minnesota Criminal Justice Institute, the preeminent legal education program for defense attorneys, prosecutors, judges and law enforcement prersonnel, on ethical issues for criminal law practitioners.
Newmark has previously taught at CJI on topics including crime scene investigations, jury selection, sleep disorder and intoxication defenses, and the interplay between family and criminal law.
