SIX MINNESOTANS ARRESTED IN ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO JOIN ISIL

The StarTribune is reporting that six men with Minnesota ties were arrested by FBI agents in San Diego, and were preparing to leave the country in an effort to join ISIL. The men were Mohamed Abdihamid Farah, Adnan Abdihamid Farah, Abdurahman Yasin Daud, Zacharia Yusuf Abdurahman, Hanad Mustafe Musse, and Guled Ali Omar. Each of these men were charged with Conspiracy to Provide Material Support to a Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization. Some of the men were charged with additional, related charges as well.
